For almost 20 years, Anastasia has successfully combined her academic work with entrepreneurship. Prior to the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, she held the position of research professor at Lomonosov Moscow State University. She is the author of two textbooks and numerous research papers in the social and political sciences. 

Despite her rich background in academia and business, she has always been passionate about music. A lifelong pianist, she founded Music School Vyšehrad to fulfil her dream of combining music and education in a place where joy and knowledge can be shared.

She holds a Master's degree in Strategic Management (2004), a PhD in Political Science (2009), and an Executive MBA from ESSEC and Mannheim Business Schools (2025).

Elizaveta Sogomonova

Piano Teacher

An award-winning soloist and chamber pianist with nearly twenty years of teaching experience, Elizaveta wanted to create a school where not only professionals could meet, but also people who share same enthusiasm and love for music.

She graduated from the Moscow State Classical Academy named after Maimonides with a degree in Piano Performance. Her specializations include: solo performance, piano pedagogy, accompaniment, and chamber music.

„We wanted to create a school where everyone could find their own path to music — whether a child or an adult, a beginner or an advanced musician, or even someone who doesn’t want to play an instrument but wishes to experience music in another way.“

Anna Boiprav, MgA

Violoncello and Piano Teacher

Anna was born in 1990. She dedicated herself to music at the age of six, when she began learning to play the piano under the attentive guidance of her mother, Irina Aslanova—a professional pianist and graduate of the St. Petersburg Conservatory. At the age of nine, she added cello lessons to her studies in the class of Marina Marchenko.

In 2002, she successfully participated in a regional competition for young musicians, winning the Absolute Award in the under-12 category. That same year, she continued her education at the world- renowned Gnessin Music School in Moscow, studying under Professor Lyudmila Kruzhkova, and graduated in 2009.

From 2008 to 2010, she studied at the Plzeň Conservatory in the class of Professor Mikael Eriksson. She then continued her studies with him at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts, where she earned her master’s degree in 2016.

Anna is a laureate of 10 international music competitions, both as a solo performer and as a member of the trio “ERRAI,” with which she won second place and laureate status at the Bohuslav Martinů International Competition in Prague.

Anna began teaching in 2012, sharing her musical experience with others. She speaks

Russian, English, and Czech fluently, which helps her connect easily with students and audiences from different backgrounds.

Tatiana Nytrová

Piano Teacher
Orff-Dalcroze Early Music Development Group Lessons

Tatiana graduated from the Voronezh Music College and Pedagogical University, specializing in piano. Over 25 years of teaching experience. Awarded ministerial honors for her teaching activities. My work is based on the musical development system of German composer and teacher Carl Orff.

Yulia Brazhnikova

Academic singing teacher

Musician, teacher, choir conductor, and Master of Vocal Arts, Yulia has dedicated her life to music education and currently works remotely as a lecturer at the Severodonetsk Professional College of Culture and Arts in the Department of Choral Conducting and Vocal, Acting Skills.

Her education includes a diploma with honors from the Severodonetsk College of Music (now College of Culture and Arts) in Choral Conducting; studies at the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture, also in Choral Conducting; and a Master’s degree in Vocal Arts from Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National University.

Manuela Hrajnohová

Guitar teacher

Manuela studied guitar in the class of Prof. Milan Zelenka at the Prague Conservatory. She graduated in 2007. In 2003-2005 she worked as a teacher at the Prague 10 Primary School in Kolovraty, and since the 2005/2006 school year she has been teaching guitar at the ZUS Ilji Hurnika. During her studies at the conservatory she was shortlisted for the Karl Scheit competition in Vienna (2006). At the conservatory she worked in a guitar quartet, and she recorded a CD with the quartet under the patronage of Czech Radio Plzeň. In 2010 she completed her studies in History at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, and in 2011 she completed her studies in Archival and Auxiliary Historical Sciences at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. In her free time she plays solo at various concerts and social events and in chamber music (along with the accordion, flute, violin, in a trio and quartet).

Olga Kiryanova, DiS

Professional saxophonist and recorder teacher.

Olga graduated from the Prague Conservatory, where she studied classical saxophone under Professors Pavel Fidler and Pavel Škrna. During her studies, she actively participated in international masterclasses and workshops, taking lessons from exceptional wind instrument specialists. These included masterclasses in Ostrava and Poland, which played a significant role in her professional development. 

Olga is currently focused on teaching. In her teaching practice, she pays special attention to basic training, including breathing technique, sound production, and a conscious approach to playing the instrument. She strives to combine practical training with a theoretical foundation, explaining music theory and the basics of harmony while introducing students to the history of wind instruments.

Server Abkerimov

Accordionist with a vast international career.

He graduated from the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music, and later completed postgraduate studies at the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music under Prof. Yu. P. Dranga.

He has performed both with solo concert programs and in various ensembles in Russia and abroad: Finland, Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Malta, Egypt, China, Japan, Thailand, India, Lithuania, Latvia, and others. He has given more than 2,500 performances in various concert halls and music salons (Tokyo Opera City, Osaka Symphony Hall, Konzerthaus Wien, etc.). He has repeatedly taken part in international festivals (Germany, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, and more).

Sever Abkerimov is a participant in many competitions as chairman and jury member and is invited to conduct masterclasses.

Xenie Solotova

Xénie Solotova is an experienced violin teacher with over ten years of teaching experience and a winner of several international competitions.

She earned her Master's degree from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she studied under Professors Jiří Panocha and Jindřich Pazdera. She also studied at the Prague Conservatory with Ludmila Štetinová and completed a year-long internship at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with doc.Anna Nikolaevna Sokolova.

In her teaching, Xénie emphasises the importance of physical comfort and freedom when playing, integrating body-oriented methods and elements of solfège into her lessons. Her goal is to help students play with mindfulness, creativity and joy.

As a performer, she has collaborated with leading orchestras such as the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, the NeoKlasik Orchestra, and the Symphony Orchestra “Filmová filharmonie”. She has performed on stages in Spain, Poland, France, Austria, Germany, China and Switzerland.

Her students regularly perform at concerts and festivals, achieve success in competitions and some have received scholarships through the MenART educational project.

Jaroslav šimůnek

Brass Instruments Teacher

Recorder Group LessonsGraduate of the J. Deyl Conservatory in Prague, where he studied brass instruments, double bass, recorder, and organ. Artistic Director and bandleader of Astoria Brass. A true wind-instrument enthusiast, he plays almost all of them and owns an extraordinary personal collection of around 70 instruments. He specialises in creating and leading brass and wind ensembles.

Marina Lapteva

Musical Theatre Director

Graduate of St. Petersburg University of Culture and Arts with two degrees – ballet choreography and theatre pedagogy. Since 2015 she has been working in Prague as a children’s theatre director, teaching stage speech, acting, and public speaking. She loves her profession because it combines different art forms and teaches children to see and hear beauty.

Philipp Subbotin, MgA

Piano teacher

Graduated from the renowned Gnesin Academy (2006) and the Czech HAMU (2009), where he studied under the legendary Czech pianist and professor Ivan Moravec.

From 1997 to 2001, he studied at the Schnittke State Conservatory with S. Masychev. He has collaborated with the Cantilena orchestra (conductor A. Istomin) and the Cantus Firmus orchestra (conductor A. Churgin), performing at venues including the Gnesin Academy, the Ostrovsky Museum, the Scriabin Museum, and the House of Journalists.

In 2001, he won first prize at the '21st Century Art in Italy' competition in Vicenza.

He broadened his musical education through masterclasses with Berta Kremenshtein, Vladimir Tropp, Stanislav Pochekin, Monique Duphil, Karl Blankenheim and Ivan Moravec.

In 2001, he founded the piano duo DUO Eleganza with Jana Subbotina.

He regularly performs in Italy, France (Les Clefs du Classique Festival), Spain (Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía, Festival de Música Sacra, Festival de Segovia, Festival de Santa Pere de Rodes), Denmark, Sweden, Serbia, Germany, Austria, Hungary and the USA (Tampa and New York).

In 2011, he founded the Art DUO Festival & Competition, which has since been held in Prague, Budapest, Copenhagen, Rome, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin, Győr and Vienna.

He is also a jury member for the International Master Competition in Warsaw, the M. Rostropovich Competition in Orenburg, and the V. Chachava Competition in Tbilisi.

Philipp Subbotin directs the Gradus ad Parnassum piano school and has taught piano at the Klecany Music School since 2007, the Zbraslav Music School since 2021, and the Stodůlky Music School since 2023.

Marie Džanezašvili

Piano teacher

Marie studied piano performance at the Prague Conservatory under MgA. Veronika Böhmová, PhD, and M. Mus. Libor Nováček. She continued her higher education at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts, where she studied Piano Pedagogy under Prof. MgA. Alena Vlasáková. Since 2019, she has regularly attended lectures at the JAMU Methodological Center, further developing her expertise in piano teaching and performance. She has also actively participated in masterclasses led by Prof. Ivan Klánský.

From 2019, she worked at the Buštěhrad Art School, where her students won second prize at the national round of a competition organized by the Ministry of Education. Since 2024, she has been teaching at the Ilja Hurník Art School, where her students regularly achieve prizes in piano performance competitions. She works with students of all ages.

„I strive above all for experiential teaching, in which we express our emotions and inner world through music. To achieve this, together with my students we search for and discover the technical and tonal possibilities of the piano. At the same time, we become acquainted with theoretical foundations, which also lead us to a rational understanding of music.“

Viktor Velát

Piano teacher

Viktor Velát is a Czech pianist of Russian–Ukrainian background, an award-winning performer, and an experienced piano teacher. He is a laureate of numerous international piano competitions and regularly appears as a concert soloist.

He began his piano studies at the age of six. He graduated with honors from the Prague Conservatory in the class of MgA. Adam Skoumal. Viktor later completed his bachelor’s degree at the Manhattan School of Music in New York, where he studied with MgA. Alexander Mutuzkin.

Viktor has received top prizes at international piano competitions in the Czech Republic, Italy, and the United States. He has further developed his artistry through masterclasses with renowned pianists including Ivan Klánský, Kirill Gerstein, Jan Bartoš, Ivo Kahánek, Martin Kasík, Piotr Paleczny, Saleem Ashkar, and others.

As a soloist, Viktor has performed with leading orchestras such as PKF — Prague Philharmonia, the Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra.

Daniel McCombe, MA

Guitar teacher

Daniel McCombe  is an experienced guitar instructor and performing musician with over 10 years of teaching students of all ages and skill levels. He holds an Associate Degree in Music Performance and is a recipient of the Bucks County Youth Orchestra Scholarship. Daniel specializes in creating engaging, customized lessons that build strong technique, musical understanding, and confidence—always keeping learning fun and inspiring. As an active performer in the US and EU, he brings real-world musical experience into the classroom, helping students connect theory with creativity and performance.

Egor Gromyko

Music composition and production teacher

Egor is a composer working with both electronic and acoustic music, including original soundtracks. He is an elected staff member of an international music theory forum with over 7,000 members, where he actively contributes to discussions on composition and analysis.

In his composition lessons, Egor guides students through core musical disciplines such as music theory, harmony, counterpoint, and ear training, while also introducing practical skills in modern music production. His teaching includes working with digital audio tools, virtual instruments, sound design, audio recording, and professional DAWs such as Cubase, Ableton, and Logic.

Egor’s approach combines strong theoretical foundations with creative exploration, helping students develop their own musical identity, refine their aesthetic, and confidently realize their artistic vision.
